Join A Team
One of the best ways to make friends and contribute to church life is to join one of our teams. You can get involved in: Welcome Teams, AV and Production, Worship and Creative, Children and Youth, and Mission and Outreach. ICC hosts many events and we are always looking for people who want to be useful. We hold auditions for worship and creative teams, host training nights for various ministries, and require an interview and ‘Working with Children Check’ card for Children and Youth.
Learn About Jesus
The very history of our world is divided up based on this historical figure’s life. Jesus Christ, the name which has caused so much discussion that His name is still the most widely recognised of any person living or dead. Why did what He said and how He lived caused so much attention?
Maybe it was because the claims He made were at odds with the religious leaders of His day. In fact at some stage, it all got too much for them, and they led Him to His death in a manner normally reserved for criminals.
Maybe it is because his friends and disciples who followed Him, sometimes from afar, suddenly discovered courage and conviction in what Jesus said to risk their lives, many to the point of death, in advancing what Jesus Himself had called a ‘spiritual kingdom.’
Whatever you have previously thought about Jesus, maybe it is time you thought about whether His story has any relevance to your life. Christians from all different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and economic situations will gladly share with you what a positive difference discovering Jesus makes, and how the spiritual experiences He gives has made an impact in their lives. Christians talk about peace, joy, and purpose in the midst of a world which only seems to be getting worse.
If you would like to discover some of the claims Jesus has made, we encourage you to attend your local church, email someone from ICC, or call us. We would love to discuss with you what the next step in your faith journey might be.
