Mission & Values
Welcome Home
As a church we have a very simple mission statement:
“Helping People Say Yes To Jesus”
With everything we do, we aim to see people take the next step in their relationship with Jesus. Whether it be saying Yes to Jesus for the first time, or saying Yes to Jesus to serve in a new way, we’re committed to walking with people on the journey of faith.
Our Values
Values are what drives an organisation’s culture. Values will determine your strategy and vision. These are the values we exhibit and treasure at Inglewood Community Church:
Matthew 6:21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
Outward focused
Our heart’s desire is to focus our energy on those outside of God’s Family. They are our first priority. Our best energy and resources should go to those who are yet to say yes to Jesus.
Trust
When we appoint someone to lead, we presume they will desire to lead with integrity and passion. We trust them to make godly decisions.
Good humoured
Humour is a key indicator of health. Our ability to laugh even when confronted with stressful and difficult situations indicates we know God is ultimately in control. Meetings should be enjoyable and conducted with good humour and mutual respect for one another.
Passionate
The gospel of Jesus Christ is relevant and exciting. Our worship, evangelism and discipleship should all be energised through a passionate relationship with God and others and a passionate desire to see God’s Kingdom realised on earth as it is in heaven.
Generational
Our focus at Inglewood Community Church is raising a generation of young people passionate about Jesus and making Him known. We acknowledge our senior members and seek their mentoring and counsel. We encourage all generations to serve, lead, and participate in an active community of faith.
