Monday 27th September
This is from the NRSV Version to help think through the whole story in detail. Turn off verse numbers and titles and just read the scripture as a story. Try to imagine what is going on in Paul’s heart and mind as he hears the prophecy and in the midst of conflict still goes on to the mission. It is a powerful story.

It is good to read material from a wide variety of sources. This one may be a challenge to some but I encourage you to find the thoughtful and helpful parts from this writer.
Thursday 30th September
Pray that God will keep working on you, helping you to become more like Jesus. Stop and ask God to show you anything He wishes you to deal with and change about yourself. Give yourself time now to understand how Holy God is, and how gracious.
Take a moment now to thank God for His forgives. That you are part of His family, His church, His body.
